URIM Vision

Our Vision is to see people empowered by knowledge. Our mission is to provide mobile workforces with the knowledge they need at their fingertips, through a self-build, self-serve, mobile content management system. Our primary objectives are to make this system simple enough for local small businesses, powerful enough for global enterprises and secure enough for all.

These are at the heart of the URIM business.

Three pillars of corporate governance

Accountability? That for me is, being answerable for what’s happened – liable. Basically my people will really step up, when things go wrong. I’ve heard it said, you can tell the quality of an organisation, not when everything is going really well, rather it shows when things are ‘broken’ and you the Customer or Supplier need our real support.

Security? No compromise on this, if your data is not kept secure from unauthorised access, my credibility as an organisation is ‘blown,’ the trust is lost. I keep your data safe, whether Personally Identifiable Information under GDPR & similar local legislation, or confidential company information – I keep it all secure. Strictly controlling access, so that your users only see what they are meant to see & only those with the right permissions get to see anything.
You can be sure our security measures are industry leading.

Transparency? As an organisation I’m saying I have nothing to hide and am happy for outsiders to observe our transactions and processes, also having visible Leadership sharing our vision and goals. All is auditable. The reason? To build and maintain trust with our Customers and suppliers.

Begin the Journey of…

Fingertips to Information

What if the information people need in any given context was available at their fingertips?

What if, via an app on your phone, you could access information on a process to be carried out by you, on behalf of your company in the case of say, a major incident.

What if you could set up access to information you need to access in specific contexts? Interested in finding out more? Click here https://page.urim.app/find-out-more-about-the-urim-app

Does your business need its own app?

An interesting question.

If you think that mobile apps are solely for big name brands like Walmart and Bank of America, you are wrong. More and more small and midsize businesses are following the mobile trend, understanding that an effective mobile strategy involves more than just a mobile-friendly website.

More and more, businesses of all sizes are looking to mobile apps.

Why might that be?

URIM is a good example of what can be done with a Self-Build mobile app

Develop your own Content Management System app from scratch?

Mobile app development is big business. It’s also essential for many companies to have a mobile app that their customers or staff can use to carry out all manner of activities, whether that’s buying a product or booking a meeting.
Of course, our smartphones are constantly evolving and that means there’s always a need for new apps. With technology improving and people’s needs also changing, it’s important that businesses stay on top of their app development.
App Developer MagazineQA recently highlighted a report released by OutSystems, which identified some of the main challenges faced by app developers.
To compile the “State of Application Development, 2019: Is IT Ready for Disruption?” report, the firm spoke to 3,300 IT professionals working around the world. One of the main things identified by the research is the volume of apps being developed.
The report found that there was a 60 per cent increase in the number of apps being developed in 2019 compared to last year, with 38 per cent of the professionals surveyed stating that they are expecting to deliver 25 or more apps this year.
However, the survey also revealed that there’s a backlog when it comes to app development, with just 39 per cent of respondents stating that their backlog has improved in the past year, compared to the 64 per cent who said that they have an app development backlog.
Almost half of those questioned revealed that the average time to deliver a web or mobile app is five months or more. If you’re delivering apps for clients outside the tech sector, it’s important to make sure you set realistic expectations.

Against this backdrop, there are increasingly compelling reasons to consider self-build apps like URIM

Rather than waiting for URIM Users to experience issues and report them, the NOC monitors parameters such as disk, memory and processor usage, network performance and hardware errors. The NOC staff identify any variance against the set parameters and will proactively take corrective action remotely, if possible, before an issue arises, or arrange an on-site datacentre visit if needed.
